Re-citer   ri’saite(r) n. a slim yet comprehensive tome pertaining to a particular subject. A cornucopia of the vital and the inconsequential containing stories and anecdotes, facts and lists in an un-put-downable melange of the trivial and the profound. Suitable for whiling away a few minutes, the odd spare hour or plundering as the source material for an after dinner speaking engagement, to enhance your reputation as a raconteur or simply to impress them down the pub.

The fact is that this should have done a whole lot better than it did. I know I’m biased but it’s a good little bog book. Here’s the deal. I came up with the ideas and Sutton Publishing wanted Mike to front the book - after all he’d just been selected to be on ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’. The problem was he was out of the show far too quick - he was the first to go and as he was leaving he cried foul.

Next up we needed to write it....that was the easy bit. Come publication week and Mike instead of doing the PR rounds was busy on his West End musical debut - Oscar, It only ran for one night and the fall out was horrible. While I’m not blaming Mike, it certainly didn’t help!
